Description
ECOWAY® is a polyester yarn recycled from waste plastics by applying two technologies, mechanical recycling and chemical recycling, respectively, and has a variety of differentiated recycled products in addition to regular products. Since it is chemically recycled through Toray Advanced Materials' unique depolymerization technology, it produces differentiated functional 100% recycled yarns (such as PET/PET Stretch yarn, cation dyeable yarn, and sea-island yarn) with high quality. We are leading the functional recycled yarn market by developing and mass-producing 100% recycled PET/PET stretch yarn for the first time in South Korea. ECOWAY® has 70~80% lower carbon emissions than virgin PET raw materials through depolymerization technology and is creating sustainable innovation through LCA-based environmental impact assessment.
