Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Korea Textile Trade Association (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") and its users regarding the use of textile and fabric-related services provided on www.ktextile.net (hereinafter referred to as the "Site").

Article 2 (Definitions)

1. "Service" refers to textile and fabric-related information, product sales, consulting, and other services provided by the Company to users.
2. "User" refers to both members and non-members who access the Site and use the services.

Article 3 (Effect and Modification of Terms)

1. These Terms and Conditions take effect when posted on the Site's screen or otherwise notified to users.
2. The Company may modify these Terms and Conditions when necessary due to changes in the textile industry or relevant regulations. Modified terms will take effect 7 days after notification.

Article 4 (Service Use)

1. In principle, services are available year-round, barring any special operational or technical issues.
2. The Company may temporarily suspend services for system maintenance, repairs, upgrades, or participation in textile exhibitions.

Article 5 (Membership Registration)

1. Users can apply for membership by filling out the registration form provided by the Company and indicating their agreement to these Terms and Conditions.
2. The membership contract is established when the Company's acceptance reaches the user.

The Company processes personal information for the following purposes:
- Member registration and management
- Provision of textile and fabric-related services and fulfillment of contracts
- Customer support and complaint handling
- Provision of textile industry information and marketing activities

2. Categories of Personal Information Collected

The Company collects the following personal information during member registration:
- Required: Name, Email address, Company name
- Optional: Phone number, Business registration number, Department, Job title

3. Retention and Usage Period of Personal Information

The Company will promptly destroy personal information once the purpose of its collection and use has been fulfilled. However, if retention is required by relevant laws and regulations, the Company will retain member information for the period specified by such laws.

4. Procedures and Methods for Destroying Personal Information

The Company will destroy personal information without delay when it becomes unnecessary due to the expiration of the retention period or the achievement of its processing purpose.

5. Rights of Users and Legal Representatives and How to Exercise Them

Users can view or modify their registered personal information at any time. If users do not agree with the Company's processing of personal information, they may refuse consent or request membership cancellation. To view or modify personal information, users can click on 'Edit Personal Information' (or 'Modify Member Information'). For membership cancellation (withdrawal of consent), users can click on "Cancel Membership" and go through the identity verification process to directly access, correct, or withdraw their information.
